$500 consultation fee is required to reserve a spot on my build list and to begin the ordering process.  This fee is non-refundable.  If you commission a guitar, the fee will be applied toward the price of the guitar on your final invoice.  As my yearly production is limited, my waiting list currently extends several years. With constant fluctuations in material costs and international currency values, the price of your guitar will be guaranteed at the time of deposit. 

A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required 6-12 months prior to my beginning your guitar (some commissions may require an earlier/larger deposit to secure certain materials or fund the design process). At the time of deposit, the price of your guitar is guaranteed.  The balance is due prior to shipping. All guitars are shipped FedEx international priority.  Prices do not include shipping, insurance, taxes or duties.  I DO NOT SHIP ANYTHING WITH UPS.  Final satisfaction of CITES or any other necessary export/import regulations are the responsibility of the owner.

Greenfield Guitars will no longer be delivered in Calton cases. The timely delivery of Calton cases has become unreliable and I have been informed by Calton that they are no longer able to supply me.

I have built my reputation by using only the finest materials and components in the crafting of my guitars and by providing my clients with the best possible service. As such, I have been assessing several renowned manufacturers of the world’s finest carbon fiber instrument cases. Carbon fiber cases are much lighter, stronger and less cumbersome than the old, fiberglass Calton cases are. They will provide better protection for the guitars and greater comfort for their owners! A final decision will be made by the end of the year.

Warranty

GREENFIELD GUITARS are warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship, for my life as an active guitarmaker. This warranty is extended to the original owner only, and is not transferable to subsequent owners.

The following conditions are specifically excluded from and may void the warranty:

• Any unauthorized modifications or alterations made to the guitar.
• Any damage caused by misuse, negligence, accident, improper use or unauthorized repair.
• Damage caused by temperature or humidity.
• Normal wear and tear, tonal characteristics, worn frets, worn tuning machines, or finish damage caused by extreme cold or contact with plastics or solvents.
• Electronic components and hardware carry the warranties of their respective manufacturers.
