I  am in the process of crafting a new harp guitar for Andy McKee. I hope to deliver it to him by late January/February 2010. This is the first harp guitar I have made and it has been close to a year in planning, research and design. It is a VERY exciting commission!

Andy's harp guitar will have its own, proprietary body shape and many unique features.  While inspired by the early 20^th century Dyer and Knutsen harp guitars, this will truly be a contemporary instrument incorporating all of the modern physics and design features found on all of my guitars.  The guitar neck will have a subtle 25.0" - 26.0" fan and the harp neck will have 6 sub bass strings with sharping levers for each string.

Things are progressing really well and the finish line is finally in sight!  I have the photo studio booked on February 15^th and expect Andy to pick up the guitar that same week, prior to heading out for many months of touring with it.
