Over the years, many have influenced my work and growth as a guitarmaker. While any maker who has picked up a sharp chisel is a cherished colleague; I consider those listed below to be my friends and mentors. They have helped raise the quality of my guitars to where it is today and have guided me as a maker and individual. I am honored to call these people my friends and I thank them for the constant advice and guidance they have made available to me over the years. Whether how to execute a particular technique or feature, thoughts on bracing, voicing, the dynamics of the instrument, or just how to live as a guitarmaker.
Grit Laskin, Linda Manzer, Ervin Somogyi, Judy Threet, Bryan Galloup, Mario Beauregard, Tom Ribbecke, Julius Borges, Sheldon Schwartz, Jeff Traugott, Rick Turner, Kevin Ryan and David Berkowitz
Most of all I thank all those who play my guitars. I am constantly learning about the instrument, by addressing the needs of the player. No two players or their guitars are the same. Each is an individual. It is both an honor and a joy to craft these wonderful guitars.
